I recall a light armored vehicle that was called an Ontos (Thing). It had tracks and carried six 105mm recoiless rifles. It was sighted using a .50cal spotting rifle and smoke rounds. I don't remember if this vehicle was in service in WW2-maybe it came after-not sure. However, there were several bore sizes of recoiless rifle used on different vehicles in WW2. These weapons were light weight and had formidable fire power and were easy to mount. Anyway a recoiless rifle armed vehicle might be a thought for AH. I know somebody out there must have some more info on these things.

Ah yes, the ONTOS.
Used by U.S.M.C. mostly.
It is a post Korea to Viet Nam era unit, and is best thought of as an idea that was tried, and then dropped.
Good points were light weight, big punch and small crew.
Bad points, no real armor, and you had to be OUTSIDE to reload... Burr...
The .50 is not the M2 .50, but rather a slower spotting round only used in the spotting rifle, a semi-auto.

More likely candidates for perk vehicles would be Tiger IIs, although they're slow as hell. Pershings and M-18 Hellcats. Russian IS-2 heavy tanks too.
Maybe a JagPanther.

The example shows Tiger IIs being perked.
