The 38 looks good but i'm diggin' on the tire machine and tire balancer  :rock With my friends bugging me for tires all the time i could make a little extra cash with those toys. :aok

Not bad their sir. It looks like a fun fly, so it should be reletivly easy to fly. Just watch out for that engine out on one of the sides It looks like you have nitro in it, So I would say put somthing like on board glow so that it won't die wile flying, but even then you are taking a risk with the nitro.

Hope it works out for you!

I THINK it will. it's the nitro models arf.......everythign i've read on them, they fly easily and nice.

she's got 2 magnum .91 four strokes.....so i think the only times i'll have tgo worry about an engine out, are during take off, and short final.
i;ll be adding retracts, as i can't see that plane cruising with the gear sticking down like that.

i like the onboard glow idea...and need to look under the cowls, as i thought the guy said they were installed.

the hard part with a plane like this, is transportation. she's friggin BIG. :D

ok..here's the stand i'm building for this airplane, as it's too big to transport in one piece.
it wouldn't be a problem, except that whereas most p-38's only remove the wings outboard of the engine nacelles, this company removes the gondola, then the wing unbolts from the engine nacelles, then the wing seperates, just as on any other model. this leaves the booms hard to carry, so i;m building this for it.
