OK, we have a Polish Spit, a Brazilian Jug, and a Finnish 109.
Here's some other countries HTC should include. They each flew the planes of at least one one of the major combatants in the war. I'd like to see at least one variant in the markings each of these countries:
Canada
Mexico
France
Belgium
South Africa
New Zealand
Australia
Help me with plane types and any countries I forgot.

We need a Romanian IAR-81. And it's their own plane, not someone else's in their markings.
They actually look pretty cool. They were assumed to be FWs in combat by the US because they looked vaguely similar (radial engine). Never got good engines from the Germans so they'd be dead meat in the AH MA, though.
A whole mess of them were in a gigantic furball with a bunch of P-38s on the deck during that pyschotic low-level P-38 bombing raid on the Romano-Americano refinery at Ploesti. Got a lot of 38s.

It was Flt Lft. Jack Clellands (relatively unknown pilot) Isabell III. He was a Kiwi pilot who flew for the 357th FG.
One small prob i can see. Alot of people me included can identify the variant based on its colour scheme. The more variants of schemes the harder it will be to id planes correctly.
Is that a problem? or a feature? (bad or good) depends how you look at it.

Try to think of different plane variants than what we already have. It doesn't look like we'll be getting alternate skins any time soon.
The idea is that as a new variant is introduced, it can be done up in the paint job of another country that used the plane.
E.g.:
We had: Bf 109F-4 Luftwaffe
Then added: Bf 109G-2 FAF
We have: P-51D USAAF
Add:
Mustang Mk III (P-51B/C) Polish AF
Mustang Mk. I (P-51) RAF.
We have:
Spitfire Mk. V RAF
Spitfire Mk. IX Polish AF
Add:
Spitfire Mk. VIII Australian
Spitfire Mk. XIV Canadian
Spitfire Mk. XVI Free French
I think this way is more interesting than making all the Mustangs American or all the 109's German or all the Spitfire British.

Free French? HAS to be the Yak-3.
The NN flew this plane in Russia terrorizing the Germans for years, after the war they flew the entire IAP of planes (I think 130 in total) back to France to join the new french airforce. Just imagine 130 Yaks circling the airport waiting to land... >shiver<

How about one of the clipped wing F4U-1A's for the Royal Navy?
Along these same lines, maybe some 'tropicalized' versions of planes in the desert schemes (i.e.-Spit Mk. V with deep chin inlet and 4 hispanos, Marseilles Me-109F, etc.)
Did Canadian birds have their own markings in WW2? I know many of the Canadian Typhoon Squadrons flew as RAF Squadrons.
Great Idea though. I would love to see the NN Yak-3. Oh, maybe if we get a P-39 we could have the U.S. and VVS version. So many choices. Gotta love it!

Yes several nationalities flew as part of the RAF but they all had their little touches in the markings and trust me, WW2 aircraft buffs from these countries know the little touches. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Somethin with Hungarian markings. I always liked the Pumas. Would of been best for the 109G6 but there's still a bunch of LW planes they flew that have yet to be modeled.

It's "Gabby" not "Cabby", after the P47 Ace Gabbriesky. Some of our paint jobs are still POP (Prisoners of paintjob) into Pyro's drawers. Gabby's P47, we are thinking of you! Hold on, freedom will come!
Btw, it's a painting from Gabby's last WW2 flight when he hit the propeller on the ground straffing German planes. He ditched on a nearby field and became a POW instead of going home to get married. He was a bit greedy to increase his score for his last flight I think (Personal opinion).

Frenchy, at the WB Con Gabby said he was strafing a plane and his bullets were going high. He was target-fixated and pushed forward on the stick to compensate and WHAM! Game over.
