Title: vehicle track noise
Post by: W7LPNRICK on February 04, 2010, 10:16:55 PM
can't find it in sound preferences. I had it set, but my screen locked up, then turned black and no matter what I tried I couldn't get the screen to go back to normal when the game was started. So, I deleted the game and reloaded it. The game works much better now than even before the freeze up, but I've had to reset all my preferences, & can't find the track setting other than outside track.  :headscratch:

If your looking for your own GV track sound, look just under vehicle,"tread".

I hope thats what you were looking for.

Well thats strange because I just tested it and "tread" when selected and while driving an M3 I could adjust the volume of the "tracks" on the M3.

How maybe I misunderstood you and thats not the sound you want to adjust.

So it might help if I knew exactly what sound you want to adjust,   ie the sound of other players tracks, the sound of your vehicle tracks,or maybe it's something else.

I turned down the tread to <50% with not reduction in the Clank, clank noise of the tank tracks. I will try again

You sure its not the "external tread" that you are decreasing?

I wasn't turning it down far enough. I get almost no decrease in volume until <50%, then it drops off quickly. ALL fixed. Thanx.  :headscratch: :joystick:
