Title: Nightmares and Buccaneers

Great escorts gents!  :aok
We did not make it easy on you guys as we had different flights with different load outs. We were separated by the time we were 1/2 way to target.

Everyone of us made it to target despite seeing enemy. The two we lost over the target crashed due to pilot error. After that we were scattered over 3 sectors on the way home. V54 was flat when we left.  :salute

I'm still wondering where the majority of V54 CAP went. We weren't engaged in earnest until after we'd passed south of V101 covering your guys' stragglers on the way out.

The Nightmares ate them with a side of rice :D

I went ahead of our main force to scout the cap - there was a bunch of Ki61's, but they were spread very thin.  Nightmares picked up 19 kills, mostly Ki61's, and the Mongrels another 7, so thats at least 26 that were in the area :D
