For the people asking what the Ki-83 was, here are some pics of it under testing by the US after the War.

Had 'em fixed... remember, you must add the "http://" before any img tags. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

can anyone translate the nipponese?

BTW, I have more images of this. All of these pics are from `Famous Planes of the World Vol.24 (Sept. 1990)-Army Experimental Fighters' by the Bunrin-Do Co. ltd. I don't know whether or not these are the same people who publish Koku-Fan, as all my Koku-Fans are currently in storage (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/frown.gif)

You can also erase the "This message was edited by" message each time you re-edit, then people will think you only needed 2 attempts to get it right (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Thnks...
Very hot looking plane...
Never even heard of it befor.

Just how did it differ from the KI-45 "Nick"?
-
I beleive the KI-45 Nick could be comparable to the ME-110 while this baby would be in the same league as an F7F Tigercat.
