Hi all,
I would enjoy to fly in the AvA arena set ups, and was just wondering if any fellow European or anyone else that is free to play like to try and get together once a week for a few hours of furball fun in the AvA arena set ups at a convienent GMT/CET time? either midweek or at the weekend...you never know..once the numbers pick up..we might get a few people pop in from the MA's

Hi!
249 Sqn RAF is usually online between 21:30 and 00:00 hours GMT on Wednesdays and Sundays. We usually check AvA first for players before heading to EW or MW.
Cheers,

I will start checking on wed and might join you then.
I have seen action sometimes on US Monday afternoon, that also might be a time to try.
-
Alright - let's get a semi-official GMT AvA evening started on Wednesday! :rock
21:30 GMT is a bit late for me - will usually start around 20:00 GMT - since I am GMT +1 (duh!)

Sounds good to me, 20:00 GMT time on Wednesdays as an unofficial time..the more numbers start appearing in the AvA then when people log in, they might join the arena :airplane:

I'm in GMT+1 as well and wednesday 20:00 GMT is ok for me :joystick:

:x Is it Wednesday yet? :bolt:
Great setup :joystick:
:salute Hope to see you all there. Bring some friends and tell them not to hide in a distant corner of the map, trying to take bases. Let them know up front that it is a whole lot more fun when EVEN sides, just duke (sorry for using your name sir) it OUT!
Axis planes versus Allied planes........ SOooooo Cool

This is looking good!
Hang in there for a while, I'll try to make it by 21:00 GMT! And I'll choose the side with less players when I log in, I promise (maybe it's time to drive an F afterall).

someone tell me what time that is here in the US on the East coast ( EST )
what? 3 pm EST?
Jimson showed up last night and hung around for me, but I had to log unexpectedly...
The AvA arena is fun..... can not for the life of me understand why all these people that want something different ( opposite plane sets per country side ) don't walk the walk....although they talk the talk very loudly in game, on the boards and do it on a continous basis... but they never back their talk up , by coming to where the fun is

Hey TC, thanks for the schooling last night, ha ha. Some day, I'll be good enough to give ya a real fight. :salute

Although I was only able to stay a short while and the terrain gave me a bit of performance isssues it was tremendous fun. Those Spixteens don't look THAT bad 1on1.

Gentlemen,
I didn't had so much fun for a long time... I flew aircraft that I never flown before, like the Tempest. I flew my favourite 51, the B. I took a spin on my "brute" Spitfire, the 14. I fought at tree top level, mid alt, at 25k... Chased 262s, Dora's and those pesky K's.
Had very good fights with you all. I'll surely come back for more next Wednesday.
P.S.: I've always said that AvA is the rigth place to have fun in a controled environment with an historical matchup. It get's better and better until the threshold of 30/40 players. Beyond point, it get's too realistic and gets out of hand...
