Del's AIM-9's are actually 1st gen heat seekers, they can be out-rolled....... It's Shuffler's you have to worry about!

lots of sarcasm above.  but seriously talking I wonder how many firefights took place at or near stall speed?  and of those how many pilots lowered the landing gear to try to make the other pilot overshoot? like its done here all the time in ah.  My bet is on most firefights took place at low alt low speed with lots of planes using full flaps trying to out turn each other.

Don't think so...if the fight went low, it was because the enemy was low to begin with...very few gave up their altitude on purpose...and many who did either got killed in the process or got away because the enemy didn't want to give up their altitude to pursue them.

Don't you guys think the wishlist is muddled up enough as it is fellas? A lot of good wishes getting pushed out of sight for some of the silliness.

I know Mossie pilots used their landing gear as airbrakes at times and I have read of at least on that had to fly back to the UK with the gear down because they jammed.  They were being deployed above 300mph though.

Whether of not it was meant to be tongue and cheek, or not, it was highly inappropriate.  All it does is get some new person all worked up and all of a sudden we have more conspiracy theories running about.

We do not need more drama or drama queens on this bulletin board.  There is more than enough of that.
