Last night the Allies took Base 23 after an epic struggle. they have been awarded a p51-B at that base. capture or in this case kill it below 25% and you get a bonus plane. fail and you get nothing. have fun!!
Tonights objectives:
Axis-- Radar factory at 7,6. AAA factory at 8,9
Allies-- Troop factory at 9,5. AAA factory at 9,6
Good luck folks!!

Subject: Targets for the day After Action Report.
Sir,
It is my duty to inform you that the 643rd BS launched a full compliment of low altitude bombers to the primary target Troop factory @ 9,5 and secondary target AAA factory @ 9,6. The flight could not locate the targets from the assigned bombing altitude.

We stayed in the target area for 25 minutes without sighting the primary and secondary targets.

I pushed my pilots down through the low cloud cover to see if the target could be spotted.

The result was one lost ship crashed on hillside.

On RTB an additional ship was lost as it crashed at the end of the runway of the alternate strip.

We request a photo recon mission to the area to ascertain the correct location on all targets prior to the next mission.

owing to a shortage of type-writer ribbon at Group HQ, the orders never made it to the messengers; thus the Squadrons felt safe that Supreme Command would not be un-happy that they bomb the targets of Troop factory at 9,5. AAA factory at 9,6 from before once again. :D

all targets once release are considered targets of opportunity. going back to a target once its been release is a good secondary target if weather is a problem over primary target.
Major redtail7 congrats on your capture and pick your ride.
also strats have been fixed as you can see.......sort of. its actually a map problem. anyway strats are now back in play.
***note to all: please keep typewriter ribbon supply at an acceptable level for future flash alerts and orders!!
