Yup, I've had this many many many times.

This bug almost always occurs with a 109 that is leaking oil or coolant.  Again, the frame rates drop for everyone until the plane causing this bug is dead. (Dead = blown up or crashed and is no longer in the area)  Usually the frame rate bug event lasts <30 seconds.

Lute explained it will in that thread.  I have had this happen as well but attributed it to something running on my computer or my modem, didn't find anything abnormal with either of these.  Hopefully someone can get some film.

so THATS why my FRs dropped to 20 or so when I killed a 109...  That is weird.
