I lost one of my good friends and the best person I ever knew in Iraq. He always pressed his uniform, his house was always spotless, he didn't drink, do any drugs/tobacco, and always ate healthy food. Most of all he was very religious and loved God. His favorite bible versus was Psalms 23 and 91. Please read his story and remember him.

Thanks for reading his story guys, everytime I think of Eric I tear up why does God always take the best people. He had so much to give to this world and that's all he ever thought about serving the world.
Tell you a quick story about Eric every year at gradulation there is normally always a 17 or 18 year old kid boy/girl that almost always loses their life in a DUI related automobile accident. Eric at the time was a State Trooper in this county where I live and he felt so obligated to do something. Next year he set up a reinactment of that automobile crash in front of the whole High School before graduation. That year no one died, Did he save a life for his courage to step up and do something? This is just one thing this man did, he was wiser then anyone I knew and I know no one can be without sin but Eric was the closest I've ever seen.
:salute bud RIP

:salute to another brother down. May they get the bastards behind it. Even though CNN doesn't show it, yes, there is still a war going on over there.
-
I swear, we give them everything they could possibly want to help modernize their country, and they STILL pull this kind of crap, anyone and everyone over there that believes this is right needs to be beaten within an inch of their lives then thrown into the sea! THOSE IDIOTS are the reason that most of the population feels threatened and weak!
I really began to cry when I read that article, I pray that his family can get through it soon, and that he will never be forgotten! :salute :cry

I've lost more friends and former coworkers than I care to ever talk about but each and every one of them, and for all of the days I remain on this planet, as you will learn as well.... I think about the good times we shared. The bad times will fade into the darkness. Only the bright will remain. And I thank whatever higher power there might be for that. :salute

I'd like to think so, what kills me most is that the future of his life and how he lived would have transformed so many lives. This man had no fear because he walked with Jesus every step he made and he definently touched my life forever. I wished you all could have met this man and seen it for yourself. It was 1 year since his death yesterday and I've thought of him so much and take alot of what he did with me in my daily activities. Thank you guys so much keeping his name alive and what type of person he is would mean the world to his parents and Eric. It means the world to me! :salute
P.S.
I saw where he got his courage from at his funeral. His dad made so many laugh and made one of the best speeches I've ever heard in front of about 5,000 people.

I have nothing more to say than, "Thank you for living, thank you for contributing, thank you for serving. May you rest in peace." :salute

:salute It's always sad when someone, someone close, dies. :salute

:saluteOne thing is for sure, We're going to hunt down those bastards, every last single on of them, and kill their leaders on the spot to stop them and arrest them all or execute them! We will make them repay for our losses from 9/11, Fallujah, Baghad, and now Marjah! We will br doing this world a favor. The whole world may thank the Lord Our God for this. :salute
