I have had my Saitek AV8R for almost 2 years now and it has worked great, until recently. I recently got TrackIR 5 and the problems started when i started using TrackIR. My throttle loses calibration (only the throttle not the rest of the stick), and i have ZERO right rudder imput, left rudder works fine. Could this be a driver conflict? Or a freak coincidence where the stick just happens to crap out when i hook up track ir. :headscratch:

While it could always be a coincidence, the easiest way to tell is to disconnect the trackIR and play! If the joystick works fine now, then try using TrackIR in a different USB slot.
It's also possible you don't have enough power available at the USB to properly power up both devices (especially if you have other USB peripherals as well). If this is the case, a powered USB hub may be your only option.

:rofl :rofl Thats brilliant!! I didnt even think about that :uhoh
I already have a powered USB hub. The only thing connected to the hub is the Track IR and the stick.

OK try moving the trackir to an unpowered plug... hopefully one that is on a different bus than the joystick.. the two may be conflicting somehow...
That is, of course.. if the joystick isn't coincidentally crapping out

Did you try calibrating the rudder in Windows and not just in game?
The rudder work off of a single potentiometer, it should work both ways or not at all if its a hardware issue.

Make sure all cables are tight and just for chits and giggles... maybe too much power draw on the single USB hub? Maybe try plugging the Track IR into another USB port on the PC tower.

try different plugs, I had weird issues with my TIR conflicting with my mous.. anytime I moved the mouse TIR would jitter, till I moved one off the hub
:headscratch:
