I recently downloaded TB's sound pack on my dad's computer, but the engine sounds don't seem to be working. I have no clue what the deal is, so any input would be nice. I tried Sketchworks, but the same thing happened. Not sure.

Stupid question, but worth asking. Have you checked your sound settings on the clipboard to make sure the engine sound isn't turned all the way down? I can't think of any other reason why it would be happening.

Makesure u don't have 2 sounds folders. What I mean is, check for a sounds folder withing the sounds folder. This is what u should have: C:\HiTech Creations\Aces High\sounds. Within that sounds folder, u should have a bunch of folders of all the planes in the game and some sounds not in folders. If you don't have this, then that is your problem.

Ok, I redid everything. I'm hearing all the sounds except for the engine of the plane/vehicle I'm in. I'm not sure what the deal is. I also turned the engine volume all the way up, nothing. I don't have the slightest idea of what is wrong with my dad's computer. :huh

It's extremely weird that it's only the engine sound. I recommend posting this in the tech support forum.

Is he using a onboard sound? If so, it maybe the onboard sound may not have enough channels/processor power to run all the sounds. I have seen that only 1 time though. Was a very cheap onboard sound card.
