Title: Tooth Pick

Can anyone tell me what the tooth pick was for?

Usually it is on the wings of the plane, For example it is on the right wing of the Fw 190A8.

Just curious to why its there.

Pitot tube needed to be mounted outside of the prop wash.

Yes but they were invented in Arkansas..... hence "toothpick".
