Title: Ummmm, whats up with this?

OK, so we have a Panzer VI Ausf E right? And the King Tiger is an Ausf B right? I always thought that the Tiger I was an ausf A version. If thats so, then what the hell do we have?

Tiger I = Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausführung E (formely Ausführung H, designation changed 42/43)  (Sd.Kfz. 181)
Tiger II = Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausführung B (Sd.Kfz. 182)

It is the ausf.E for the Tiger I and ausf.A for The Tiger II; to make life easier, you may refer to them by their respective design/ordnance designations of SdKfz 181 and SdKfz 182.

( I actually have no idea why thry are designated what they are, I just wanted to show-off that piece of obscure designation knowledge.)

ok, I was just wondering if we had some crazy tiger tank prototype improving on the tiger I, or if I was mistaken.
