SWulfe,
As I said in another thread, I'd be remiss if I did not vote my desires.
Yes, please add the F4F and other early-war aircraft.

I think Wotan ( my squad mate) said it best though:"man I hate flying them blue planes"

Look at it this way: You guys got your Fw-190D9 (you guys as in JV44)...
All I want is a measly stubby grey with yellow wings fighter that the 190D9 could fly circles around all day long.
It's not like it's really a threat anyway.
All I want <sniff> is a <sniff> stubby <sniff> little Wildkitten.. <sniff> :(

I know this has to help HTC with the F4F-3 as well...
I mean, it is from the Navy archives.

If they gave you that they would have to unperk the Ta-152. And of course add the ME-410, on second thought add the 410 and 219 an you can have all the US "who thought up there damn nicknames anyway?" planes.

Why F4F-3, when we could have the Brewster Model 239 Buffalo?

FM-2 would probably be more appropriate to the latewar planeset. ;)

The Brewster is better. ;)

I'd still rather have an F4F-3, but I'll settle for a FM-2.... for now...

I'm with Juzz, lets get the FM-2 first :)
It would allow for some very nice events.
-
The F4F, if modeled correctly, would not appeal to everyday play. It is not fast, does not climb well and not to agile. However, for doing events, simulating early war years, it would benefit our selection. From the early war years, I think the kate and val would be a fine addition. These aircraft would be of more use(for everyday play) than the F4F IMHO. :)

I used to do alright in the Wildcat in AW, ATC....

I would hope that we get all the planes in this photo at some point (I would even take the F3F out for a spin or two). We already have 2 of them.

Indeed, me too in AW. But, it would be used about as much as the .202, I'm afraid, just do to its lack luster performance. I would rather see other aircraft out before the wildcat, that could contribute to everyday play is my point. :)

I understand what you're saying, but I'm not sure I'd agree, as I'd certainly fly it (it'd have to be a great perk earner), and I think you might be underestimating the Wild cat (at least, going by AW's modeling.)
While it was slow in level flight, it climbed well had and performed well at altitude. It dived like a brick, and, when at speed, had a great roll rate.. And when you got slow it had great flaps.
I do take your point that it would indeed be an underdog, but I think it's be more popular than the 202.
Still, the next plane has to be the hurri, wouldn't you say :) ?
