Title: P38G appears to yaw to the left when applying take off power.
Post by: Traveler on March 06, 2010, 03:43:12 PM
Has anyone noticed that the P38G model yaws to the left during take off roll and requires application of right rudder to hold the center line of the runway?

I thought all three models P38G, J and L had counter rotating props.  It is not necessary to hold right rudder for either the P38J or L model, only the P38G appears to yaw left during application of full power.

Just tried it and it doesn't yaw for me.
Check your trim settings maybe.

Traveler see my reply in Help and Training and my post in the bug forum. We don't need this posted in every forum.

Mine seems to roll just fine on take off and the 38G is all I fly for the most part.  Now on landing it's another story :)

Dan your 38 seems too roll just fine on landing, as well as flip, spin, twist, break apart, and burn.  :O

Of course those are your good landings.  :D

I discovered the problem, it was with my peddles, not sure why it only showed up on the G model, but I was able to clean them and recalibrate.
