I reinstalled windows and vox is not picking up my mic. My squad only hears the beep. My mic works fine in Teamspeak and Vent.
When doing the reinstall of windows I had copied my HTC folder to a disk and put it in my C drive after the new intall of XP. Everything works but my mic. I can hear everyone. I tried reinstalling my sound card drivers to no avail.

Any ideas? Still have not found a fix
-
You have to set the microphone to be the primary recording device in Windows. The only option in the game is whether or not to use "Wave In", which you should try as well.
To test VOX, put your pilot handle in the 'V' channel of the radio control bar to see if it echoes back to you.

Nope, still nothing. It appears they require Java or Javascript to be enabled. Why, I have no idea, but that is not going to happen here.

Yes, hit voice recording, then make sure the microphone is checked as the default recording device.
-
Ty fugitive and skuzzy. I will try that when I get home from this trip.
-
The only option I get is SB Live! 24
-
I'm not sure if this related but I'm having vox go out after being in the arenas for 15 mins. My mapped buttons on my stick and throttle show their reading in the map control menu, but not queing up on the radio. not even keyboard buttons will get it to que. Usually have been logging out then back in but had to restart computer today to get vox back.
-
My headset has a on off switch for he mic, is your mic turned on?
-
first thing i checked was the mute button. If i open the radio to view the who is on the channels and press the f12 or T key it doesn't hi lite the radio channel as being used.

on the control panel for sound and audio on the voice tab, did you click on test hardware and go through the entire test?
if it works there perhaps you might want to re down load AH. after you uninstall it first. be sure to doucment your id and password.

ok i was wrong, T and f12 do work. thought i had tested that and it didn't but i double checked and it does work. Had the problem with my old stick for the last week and still do with my new one, think it's the USB port. Thanks for your help and time!
