If you could hang out with any deceased historic figure (dead president, celeb, leader...etc) who would it be and what would you ask?
I would love to hang out with Benny Hill just b/c hes a comic genius in my mind ( all you youngins prob know who Im talkin about). I can still watch some of his skits and they never get old and Id love to see if he was quite different in real life

Very nice. However the OP said "deceased" and as near as I can find she's still alive.

<edit> Oh, yeah.. what would I ask? Just try to figure out what was in his head. I suspect there was a HUGE amount of wisdom there that was lost.

Whats wierd about him is that many historians believe that if that history didnt drag itself out and say Hitler was to be assinated at the top of his power (early 1939) he would of went down in history as one of the world's great leaders.
Understandably we would most likeley still be at war with the Japanese, but one can only imagine what the world would be like today if history was different

The world would probably look 10 years younger. Technology always spurts within the realm of global conflicts.

OMG "assinated". LOL

Hey, I really did get to meet him -

my theory of the alternate reality world here would be no cold war but a hot one... the war with japan would have been exactly the way it happened only that it would have ended earlier than it did. the british french and americans and possibly even the GERMANS would have still allied against japan. and with our forces not focused in the ETO we could have brought twice maybe even three times the manpower to the pacific. china still would have been occupied and the same with all of the island nations and colonies (phillipines etc). and because we didnt interfere with china's continued revolution, mao would still have taken power. We may have invaded japan before the construction of the A-Bomb also and lost millions of lives.
oh and not to lose the subject: Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock just to hear his national anthem play... its a beautiful piece
