Hey I think I know roughly where that is, I think I went to a college party once at a place on top of the hill in the mid-ground in the first shot. :)

Looks strikingly like Chaumont Bay off of Lake Ontario. Everything up there is as flat as a pancake, and the flora is about right too. (Just not for April :) )

I was thinking the same thing Fencer, thought it looked an awful lot like a decent sized invasion force.

LOL, thats MY invasion force.

Seriously though, its the Straits of Malacca, Singapore. Some of the heaviest shipping traffic in the world. We see everything from the USN's carriers down to Sampans. Its a great moving, changing scene.

Notice all the work to be done in the upper left corner of the picture. That my friends is a huge pile of firewood that still even now needs to be cut, split, and stacked. Anyone want to come over and do that for me. :D

Inside the fence though is a pool and chimnea. In there we do have some family gatherings just sitting around the fire to relax after a nice swim. The view is not great but it is my little piece of the Earth.
