Default=Off for MA play but allow SEA setups to have them please.

gun jams for WW1 planes is an arena set up option? That is pretty cool if it is.
ack-ack
-
Neg but im asking for them to be.
-
We really need that. Currently, the rear gunners can just keep the finger on the trigger until the ammo runs out. Extremely effective out to 400 yards, but does not produce very historical outcomes :)

if we are gonna have jams, can we have the little hammers? :D

Joan was quizzical; Studied pataphysical
Science in the home.
Late nights all alone with a test tube.
Oh, oh, oh, oh.
Maxwell Edison, majoring in medicine,
Calls her on the phone.
"Can I take you out to the pictures,
Joa, oa, oa, oan?"
But as she's getting ready to go,
A knock comes on the door.
Bang! Bang! Maxwell's silver hammer
Came down upon her head.
Clang! Clang! Maxwell's silver hammer
Made sure that she was dead.
Back in school again Maxwell plays the fool again.
Teacher gets annoyed.
Wishing to avoid an unpleasant
Sce, e, e, ene,
She tells Max to stay when the class has gone away,
So he waits behind
Writing fifty times "I must not be
So, o, o, o.."
But when she turns her back on the boy,
He creeps up from behind.
Bang! Bang! Maxwell's silver hammer
Came down upon her head.
Clang! Clang! Maxwell's silver hammer
Made sure that She was dead.
P. C. Thirty-one said, "We've caught a dirty one."
Maxwell stands alone
Painting testimonial pictures.
Oh, oh, oh, oh.
Rose and Valerie, screaming from the gallery
Say he must go free
(Maxwell must go free)
The judge does not agree and he tells them
So, o, o, o.
But as the words are leaving his lips,
A noise comes from behind.
Bang! Bang! Maxwell's silver hammer
Came down upon his head.
Clang! Clang! Maxwell's silver hammer
Made sure that he was dead.
Silver Hammer Ma, a, an.

Yes please! One never reads about World War I aviation stories without some mention of guns jamming.

I'm just a little surprised how much ammo HTC put in these guns. From the pics, it looks like 1000 rounds per gun.
I'll be the first to admit WW1 isn't one of my greater interests, so I gotta ask: Is that historically accurate?? Seems to me I've read a lot of stories of pilots loading their own ammo (to prevent jams) the night before a mission, or counting their bullets after a kill (30 rounds fired, etc)... I never recalled reading they had 1000 rounds!

LOL, I guess. I've hit to be pinged by a single hit from an F2.B gunner. Let them lay on the trigger all they want. "Don't mistake lack of talent for genius."

D7 has the best ammo load I believe at 500 rpg.
F2b does have 900, but its for a single forward firing gun.
Camel has 250 rpg.

There's 500 rounds per gun for the Fokkers in the WWI arenas, as it should be. HTC has been known to have bigger ammo multiplier in use for testing purposes when they take teaser shots.

Yeh, I noticed that too. It should have 500rpg too. It could be that the counter is only tracking one gun's ammo tho? Would have to test the firing time...

The ammo loads varied from trays of 20 rounds, to drums of 30 or 50, to belts of 250 on the Spandau. All had to be changed manually in flight.
