Title: WWI external a/c engine sounds

Taking off last night in WWI Arena 1 and I heard V12s starting, not WWI planes starting.  I'm talking about external a/c engines, not my plane. :huh

In addition, I remember a post, by Hitech I think, about throttle control and pistons not firing. From the post, I expected to hear them cut out. Not a big deal, just curious if it's my sound card, or if it was shelved for the time being.
