a few years back I was overtaken at about 120 by a merc SL, license plate PEN15, which coincidentally was just what I was thinking of the merc driver.

Now that the greatest plate ever. :rofl
I have to assume it slipped by the censors at the motor vehicle department otherwise I doubt they'd allowed it.

Saw a Prius a couple of years ago driven by a beautiful female with the license plate, GOavacado. Don't think her 'Green' message came through like she intended.
*edit* damn, auto-censor.

Good ones
In Finland the license plate format in like a 'abc-123'.
Some that I can remember
'OR-1' = ORI = Stallion. A youngster's 'sport' car.
'MO-10' = MOLO = Dick(slang). BMW X5.
'PÖP-1' = PÖPI = Dummy. Opel Astra.
'AAS-1' = AASI = Donkey. Unidentified country wagon in darkness.
'WC-1 == A waste car...

While my license plate actually is a reference to a 25 foot fall I suffered while working about 5 1/2 years ago, it could easily refer to my skills as a cartoon pilot...

Thanks! It's the third one I have owned, fun little cars. I found this one tucked away at a Specialty Dealership in Michigan. They specialized in things like Ferrari's, real high end stuff... This little Fiat was the cheapest thing they had on the lot, by several tens of thousands of dollars. But it was in fantastic shape! All original with only about 35k miles on it. Previous owner obviously garaged it and didn't drive it much. I told my wife that I was going to start my mid-life crisis a few years early and bought it immediately.
