It's suppose to do that, the Spit 1 and hurri 1 kind of have a cheap radiator, so it'll cause the engine to cut out

Quick you need to call the staff at HTC they seemed to have mentioned that this particular bug was fixed with the last patch.
So let them know there is nothing wrong OK :aok

I'm fairly sure HTC already knows that's meant to happen... :huh :noid

if u dive for to long in ANY engine that cuts off u will have to restart the engine if u dont pull up very soon after it goes out
-
It has always restarted automatically for me.

i dived about 1k-2 kilometers down and had to restart the engine

Well maybe the bug is not fixed then have not tried Spit1 or Hurri1 since last patch. It never did that before WW1 arena started ever to the best of my knowledge & I tried both planes numerous times & none would restart no matter what you did.

No, it's fine. It's always been the case that the engine requires a restart if the "neg-G time" exceeds a certain length of time.
By "fine" I mean it's back to its old normal self.
