Title: Mouse control WW1
Post by: The Fury on March 17, 2010, 10:36:14 AM
Not sure if this really needs posting here but didnt think it belonged in general, I use mouse to fly i always have done been around 4 years ish just cant get used to joysticks, in WW2 i get amazing precision while using mouse no nose bounce smooth controls just perfect for me but in WW1 it feels awfull no matter what i do to my mouse controls in advanced controls i cant get it to feel right, now i know these planes handle a heck of a lot different than WW2 birds but with the amount of sideways sway and nose bounce im getting in WW1 planes its practically impossible for me to shoot anything i was wondering if this is down to WW1 being a new project and the mouse controls havent been refined properly or something else? (no idea what that something would be) i dont believe its because im using my mouse because it feels so perfect in WW2.

P.s. thanx in advance  :salute

It is going to be more difficult to fly with a mouse in the WW1 arena.  The planes are just twitchier and more sensitive to inputs.  The DR1 and Camel would be the worst of the lot.

Thanx for the quick response Skuzzy, yep the only one that is reasonably flyable using mouse seems to be the D7 the others are really hard work, ah well i guess ill have to get practising to be more precise with my controls may even get a cheap stick just for WW1 gotta be better than what im going through lol.

Thanx again.
