Predicted crest is lower than last years peak. I should stay dry as long as the river doesn't go over 40 feet. Even if a dike fails in the wrong spot. We bought this house in the big 97 flood. So we knew it was high and dry.

Thanks though for checking, will post regular updates as we get closer to the crest.

Link is for the Fargo Flood homepage, loads of info there for anyone interested.
She's up to 31 from 26 yesterday, big raise, but we still have snow in our yard.
So I think its cresting early.

33.1 this morning still looking at a Sat crest 37-39.

Crews are pretty much wrapping up, just a matter of sit tight and wait it out now.

Thanks to all for the support, its appreciated.

35.1 this morning, and we are in a bit of a cold snap which should help. Looks like 5 or 6 days before we go back into the 40's.

All is well just hunkered down waiting it out.

Lowered crest expectations today by half a foot, down to 37.5. Not really in the same ballpark as last years historic battle.

I heard today they expect it to crest on sunday! well atleast thats what they're saying up here in Cankville!

Looks like they closed all the ice roads in Manitoba and there's people stranded all over the place. To make matters worse they expect rain and continued mild temps,on the upside we didnt get the usual snow falls so there wont be as much to melt!

Unless we get a mother of a 6" rain in the next 2 weeks there is no way I'm getting wet. (knocks on wood)

River is at 36.4 this morning, below freezing outside. (this is good news, slows things down a bit)

On track to hit 37+ by sunday.

Looking good here, thanks for caring!
