I hate the use of “I’m just saying” as a qualifier to say just about any stupid; insulting; ignorant’ or self serving comment imaginable.
What do you think?.............I'm just saying.

 Yea, most of the times the phrase, “I’m just saying” is used when the person that used it was thinking “I really didn’t research or study what I am about to say but you can’t possibly confront me about its legitimacy because I am going to use ‘I’m just saying’ as a get out of jail free card”.
