I don't really care what your oppinons are, EVERY time there is a good fight, someone ruins it by dropping hangers, bomb****ing, or playing jokes on eachoter. If you're that bored, its time to log and play a different game, and let people who enjoy a good fight have one for once.

Fine, if you guys think its easy, all of you up at A1 in panzers with AP only, fire all of your smoke shells right infront of you, and try and hit the M3 I'll up. If you can do it, then I'll say that I'm being a whiner, and that everything that happened there was perfectly fine if thats what you want to hear.
I'm not even exagerating, there were 20+ smoke shells within 1000yds of eachother, all blocking the view to the spawn.

but isn't that what the Smoke Shells are for? to "Smoke Screen" a "Spawn Point"
to "Impair" the "Spawn Camper's" view?
sounds like the game mechanics are working as intended, even though the guys on your own country may have been INvolved in a displeasing way

Nemisis, as far as the guy sitting on you/blocking you, and making it where you may even "Kill shoot" yourself etc......
that part you should have filmed, and sent in to HTC, asking that this player and behavior be dealt with..... that part of your opening post was a good complaint, and stuff like that should not be tolerated.......
if it were my "sandbox" , and I had the capability, I would have ejected the player for disrupting gameplay of another individual, sent him an email explaining that if he could not play the game without "griefing" another, then they would be BANNED........
but it is not my "sandbox" it is HiTech's, :bolt:
edit: but film and send to HTC support, posting here is always the wrong thing to do........ we all know that, and we all know what comes of posts like this.......

You're right TequilaChaser, but I hadn't the presence of mind to hit ctrl+R to start recording. I don't usually record all my flights, as then I have to sort through them all to find the one I want, but I think I'm going to start.
And guys, its not so much that there was smoke on the spawn, and at my position, its that I (and those that weren't shooting the stuff) were used as target practice. They used smoke shells so they wouldn't get a kill shooter, and were also used to keep us guys on the hill from "getting all the kills" and I heard one admit as much on range vox. I use smoke to stop spawn campers or atleast slow them down, but I don't fire it off at team mates who are tracked.
As for the rest of you, since you all seem to condone that type of behaviour, give me a list of your game ID's, and next time I see you in the game, I'm gona shoot smoke rounds at your position, or fly infront of you and steal your kills (part of what the smoke was for). You all seem fine when its not happeneing to you, but I serisouly doubt that you would appreciate having to deal with it.

Was the VH down or something? Not sure why you'd sit in a tracked panzer otherwise.

Yes, VH was down, and we were getting swarmed by GV's, shelled by 8" guns, and bombed. They wouldn't up without a CV nearby, but when there was, every GV'er the rooks had would try to up and swarm the base. We had M3's on the base at one point.

I fly Bishop... Good luck catching me trying to camp a spawn in a GV... Or even upping in a GV... I really really dislike the GV aspect of Aces High... And if you can fly in front of me to steal my kills enough to be annoying, more power to you. For some reason, I find your threat pretty empty.

I believe theres a dot command to block someone one uh yea it's called squelch If you dont ant to hear anyone fight/argue then squelch us

I don't play the spawn camp game. Shoot all the smoke you wish. I'll be the one starting an Easter Egg Hunt with my bombs.

Seriously with all that horse play someone could have been injured. I recommend issuing warnings at a minimum.

At V85 today, .....
After being killed a few times due to vision imparment, GrnEglJr, Pony, and another player (my mind has litteraly blanked out his name from the stress) .......:furious :furious :furious :furious :furious :furious :furious :furious :furious :furious

If you have gotten that stressed out from a video game, maybe it is time to let the joystick collect some dust for a week or so. I can relate -- there have been some times where frustration has gotten the better of me. I put the joystick up for a few days and I feel better when I return.

I would like to ask ya'll a serious question now........
if you was trying to defend a base, you was TRACKED, but still had the ability to fire on the enemy GV's...... and had countrymen acting like jerks and INTENTIONALLY parking "on top" of you or slightly over you/infront of your turret to INTENTIONALLY block you from shooting or seeing.....
would you not be upset? if you asked the individual to move, and they would not agree to move, because you yourself could not.....
and having individuals running around laughing about getting a "countrymen / team mate" killed or saying "it was worth getting bombed to get him bombed/killed"
seriously GrnEagle Jr , I have seen your actions in KOTH, I have seen you get MUTED, I have seen you get ejected...... because of the way you disrupt others enjoyment....
and for you to post in this thread, telling someone to use the .squelch command if they don't want to hear your BS, is a bit pathetic.... it even shows everyone that you was in fact acting an ASS.....
Nemisis should have sent this to HTC support, and prob not posted here.. but he did let everyone know who to look out for in the future....
everyone has some type of complaint on how the game is being played, yet when something like this is posted on the boards, people joke about it...
go figure.....
it is not as funny when someone does it to you or attempts to act a fool and disrupt your own game fun.....
please don't read my post as standing up for or taking anyone's side....... Nemisis should have known he would get laughed at making a post like this on the general discussion board....... but with that being said......

I missed GrnEaglJr's post on page 2 (I have him on ignore in here). But, if you mention him, you already know it isn't good.
Nemesis. Here's what you do (if you're gonna stay Rook). Start writing down names when stuff like this happens and when they whine on range, country channel, etc......Ignore them. I've done this for years, it works. You cut out the middle man. But you get to see them have a meltdown asking for help. Some "high command Rooks" wondered why I wasn't always "helpful".
Keep a list, that hurts these no skill, mega squad lemmings more than anything.

TC very good advise, and great post.
Nemesis best advise; is to take care of this kind of thing directly with HTC.
Second piece of advise; film everything. There is even an option to start film automatically at the beginning of the sortie. I use this option because I never remembered to start film when it matters.
There will always be a few people that get enjoyment buy taking it away from others. The only way to stop them is to let the people that run the show know what's going on.

I refer to the list i have of always squelched players in the game and use it often.
unfortunately, poor game play seems to be a standard sometimes in the MA but i must say that if the adolescents and the so called vets alike go on a rampage, i just tower and go somewhere else.
as for the flaming goes, TC is right, you should no by now that a complaint thread brings out all the drunken flame tards.

I know that it is just a game and some like to have fun taking it seriously and others that are just tossing off. Unfortunately depending on how you look at it, they (the jagoff's) pay to play, as we most all do, and shall play as they desire whether it annoys someone else or not. No other way to get around it than move to another base, another arena or log off. I feel your pain but there is nothing noone can do.
