Title: What's YOUR favorite ride?
Post by: BrownBaron on March 18, 2010, 06:29:57 PM
Thought it'd be nice to see how the community feels bout their birds (or GV's), and get my mind off a couple things for awhile, too.  :frown:

Gimme the model, and maybe a brief explanation, a screenshot, any miscellaneous odd's 'n' end's.

Thanks,

        Baron <S>

Just to get the ball rollin' here.....

The might Bf109-F4!

Features include: Good armamant vs. fighters, and light/medium bombers; Most agile of the 109 family; and a devilishly handsome profile.

Mine is the F4U-1 birdcage corsair.

I guess I haven't figured out easy mode yet cause I really have to work hard to get my kills in it. :headscratch:

109 G14 and 190 D9,

The G14 is great when flying as a lone wolf, wheres the 190 D9 is one of the best planes when fighting in a pack.

I like the Tony.... for me it fits...I can't handle the fast planes well.. This allows for many different styles of fighting  and 2 nose mounted 20mm...what more needs to be said....the best thing about this plane is many people under estimate its ability.

For a really capped field SpitV is my weapon of choice

The Spit IX, it was one of the planes I first focused on to learn flying in the game, just always really like how maneuverable it was, only thing lacking in it is it's firepower, the Spit XIV & XVI have better firepower, but I still prefer the IX.

I also like to fly the F4U-C, great plane to BnZ in.

A6M5b.
My ride.
I love this plane, mainly because when cons see it they tend to lick their lips and go brain crazy. I invite them in, offering them my tail as a tasty reward, watching the angles I take the shot from them an inch at a time, drawing their energy out until the moment arrives when I roll my beautiful Zeke around their late war monster and bang rounds into their cockpit as they over-shoot.

Looks like Uffz Hans Link's "Black 1" Friedrich (F4) wreckage from a forced landing in Russia.
