Hi
I try my luck here.
Anybody has any idea about the aerobatic airplane performance & characteristic?
I'm interested about like Extra 300, Edge 540 and MXR M2 planes.
Longitudinal stability
- How these beasts are gliding without power?
- How is the stall behavior without the power?
- AoA at stall?
Turning
Any continuous / instant turn-rate & - radius data and sea level with competition fuel load?
Airfoils
I found a mention, which says the Extra 300 have a Eppler 472 airfoil. Any idea about those other planes airfoil?
Thank you for your advance.

The pilot manual for the Extra 300S shows stall speed with engine failure at 60kts, best recommended gliding speed 90kts normal, 80kts aerobatic with glide angle of 1.6:2. Seems to be about the only info I could glean from a quick glance.

RedTeck,
Great thanks for your information.
Any idea how to convert this 1.6:2 glide angle to degrees?

He owns an Edge 540t and is the guy to ask.
