Title: x52
Post by: Dimebag on March 21, 2010, 10:05:32 AM
Last week I let Windows search and download needed updates for my system.  It downloaded something from Saitek for my x52 and ever since then, when in a 262 it's like the trim is set to pull up.  If I turn on autopilot, it won't immediatly level off, it's aims skyward(about 3k/ft/min angle) then slowly comes down to level flight..  Then after running level flight with autopilot on, if I let go of the stick and turn ap off, it goes nose up again.  I can use the trim keys to level it off but if I turn autopilot on again, it flies just like I described above.

Again, this only happens in a 262

Any idea how to fix this or how to remove the update that downloaded?

Windows has been bugging me to install a driver update for my saitek pedals for ages.. I finally let it do it (running 7, 64 bit) and everything is still working fine.  I don't think the update was for the X52 itself.

Anyways yes there are other complaints about this exact 262 behavior since the last update.. just be patient I'm sure a fix is coming soon...

this happens with my saitek PRO, I just recalibrate and the problem is fixed. Not sure about the situation with the 262 but with prop planes this is a 99% fix.
