Mets, as always. And I'll be keeping the antidepressants within reach at all times.
Bring back Bobby Valentine!

Now in my 7th year of Tigers Season Tickets. Baseball has always been one of my fav. sports.
-
Red Sox looks to be decent but idk if we can pull out in the division this year.
-
My beloved Astros are going to be pretty bad this year I'd wager. I'll still be a giant fan. At least this year will give a good first look at some of the new kids drafted since Wade has been the new gm. Not quite ready to be called a rebuilding year, still sort of in limbo, but it promises to be fun. New manager, pitching coach, ss, 3b and some starters and relievers, and this promises to be a breakout year for Pence! I'm excited. Been following grapefruit league even.

Go Angels!

And that what being a true baseball fan is all about, win or lose you still love your team, hell Cubs haven't won the title since 1908, but I'll still always be a die hard Cubs fan even if they go another 100 years with out it.
-

Do the Cards still have DeRosa? Thats a guy we should have never let go.
Another guy I think the Cubs made a mistake letting go was Jake Fox, I have a feeling this guy is gonna be big, last year before the Cubs called him up mid year he was tearing up the Pacific coast league, then his first major league at bat he hit's a double, he had big numbers at the end of the season with limited at bats due to not getting the call until mid season. Watch your gonna hear a lot about him in the coming years.
-
I think they let him go and went with an internal solution at 3rd Base (David Freese, I believe).
-
Man if they did that then that was a mistake, DeRosa's a really good player.

Yep, he's a member of the Giants now. It is a shame, he's a very very versatile player.

Yeah I couldn't believe it when the Indians traded him mid season last year, especially since he was the one shinning star on a struggling team.
-
Reds finally have 3 quality starters with the sighning of the Chapman kid and a top closer. If you have pitching you have at least a chance to win.
NL central watch out for the upstart Reds!! :rock

You should believe it lol. Lee, Sabathia, Martinez.....getting as bad as the Pirates.

Still not sure about Chapman, he hasn't been proven yet but he might get there, there's definitely some promise. From what I'm hearing he might fit better into a long relief or closer role a la Joba Chamberlain, but we'll see. The Reds are definitely going to surprise some people but I don't think anybody's dethroning St. Louis for the time being.

If the Cubs stay healthy this year they'll be a contender, last year we got plagued by injuries, & losing Ramirez for all that time hurt a lot.

Come on trax you know what the World Series and a mother bear on the pill have in common.

I was just talking about our division, the NL Central.
-
Lol I know but you know I had to throw that joke out there. They might be there if they aren't injury plagued this season I just see it really hard overcoming that lineup and the pitching rotation especially with 2 Cy Young candidates in Wainwright and Carpenter. I'd love to see the Cubbies do it, I grew up watching them a lot listening to Harry Carey on WGN, man those were the days. Wrigley is definitely on the list of fields to hit, good thing the wife is a baseball fan too and wants to visit every big league park with me.

You know everyone always wants to point out that the Cubs haven't had a title since 1908, but it's not like their the worst team in baseball, far from it, in 07-08 the were the NL Central champs, but like I've said I'll love the Cubs no matter what, there an amazing team, have great fans, and Wrigley Field is one of the greatest ballparks in the country.
-
Go Reds!
Solid rotation- Harang, Arroyo, Bailey, Cueto and Maloney. Plus Coco and Masset in the bullpen. Hopefully, Chapman or Travis Wood can become MLB ready by the end of the year.
Votto, Rolen, Bruce, Stubbs, and Philips. Watch out NL Central.
Oh wait, Dusty Baker is the manager. Never mind. :cry

Yeah I was glad when the Cubs dropped him, we definitely upgraded with Lou Piniella.

Umm really no one here at all mentioned them yet?
