Its late and I was watching a paid program about how dollar coins are becoming rare, and that you can not find them at any bank because of the rarety.
WELL I so happen to work at a small bank...open our vault and we 550$ worth of dollar coins. I looked at all of these and we lable the type of dollar coins we have. They said the rarest is the George Washington dollar coin, I counted and we have 5X 25$ rolls of George Washington dollar coins.
So much for the rarety

I'm partial to the ones that tell you how impossible state quarters are to find when 3/4 of the ones I get from any store or machine are a state one. Hell, pre-1998 eagle quarters are probably rarer!

What about the current one for the "rare" $20 gold pieces that were found in a vault in a bank in Paris, France and somehow the US Mint in New York is selling them for $19.99...or better yet the ones that were found in the vault underneath the World Trade Center after it collapsed...or better yet the ones that were found in a vault in the US Mint in New York City....All for $19.99 with a limit of 20 per customer.

Yeah I've seen those too, all these coin infomercials are funny, especially the one Treize mentioned about the state quarters, they get an expert on there saying "all these state quarters will soon be gone, collectors are snapping them up", yeah I mean they only made a couple million of them so hurry up and order before there all gone.
Or how about the ones that will say "the estimated value of these coins are $49.95, but were gonna offer them to you at only $19.95", I mean who estimated their value that high?
