Well i dont know if i would want to be seen in this :headscratch:
The city car of the future will seat two people, run on electric power and communicate with other vehicles to reach a destination faster while automatically avoiding traffic tie-ups and crashes. General Motors, working with electric-scooter maker Segway, has developed three concepts tailored toward that vision of future transportation. The Electric Networked Vehicle, or EN-V, concepts go on display May 1 at the World Expo in Shanghai.

From the article:
"GM says the EN-V can reach a top speed of 25 mph and travel 25 miles on a full charge of its lithium-ion battery pack."
Just a fancy golf cart. But some interesting technology that will no doubt be integrated into future automobiles.

that would disapear in most american potholes

We're getting too futuristic here...Or at least in Japan

have fun in your electric car, I'll go Mad Max and steal fuel from from the wasteland to run my Z28.

With the exception of Telsa and Fischer, why do all "electic" cars look like crap? All of todays technology and they turn out ugly things and they wonder why people dont want them.. Do you think its deliberate?

It's definitely deliberate. Green freaks want to stand out. It takes a special kind of person to spend $40k extra on a vehicle that will save them $10k over the course of that vehicle's usable lifespan; that special kind of person wants to stand out.

25 miles on a full charge? Kewl....so all I have to do is buy 2. 1 for home, and one for parking halfway to work.
-
The car seems to be aimed at a large congested city only, it just wouldn't be practical anywhere else, & you'll only see people driving something like that in Asian countries, it just wouldn't appeal to people anywhere else.
Just looked at all the pics, the Europe & U.S design do look better then the Australian one pictured above.

Put some arms on some of those cars & they look like the robot from lost in space.
-
One more way to cluster more people together in an already clustered up space. They should at least try to do it with style and not with little green men inspired designs... ahahah Green men... get it? :bolt:
What happens in the event of a major earthquake or some other uneventful natural disaster and you have to evacuate your little pretty peaceful downtown? Sure can walk after those 25miles... besides, might be faster than your car heh heh :devil
