Was thinking about old WB squaddies and wondered if anyone knows what happened to either of these two guys or if they're kicking around AH under a different moniker.....

Dobs is not currently active in WB.

=dobs= came over to Aces High for a few weeks when the 475FG moved over but he disappeared pretty quickly. He was pretty busy with his kids and the Air Force.
I haven't seen anything from him on email or any squadron board for at least two years.
I haven't seen him on agw either in the same time period but I've quit going there.
-free- I haven't seen for a much longer time.
I'm considering coming back to AH in May if the AvA stays no icon that long.
-
Thanks for the info guys. Yeah the last I heard from dobs he was getting ready to rotate back to the States I believe. Lost track of -free- completely when I bailed out of the WB scene.
I hear you about the icons. -free- and I used to grab the hogs and have a blast vs the Japanese plane set in the HA over there. Was a real hoot.
As an aside for any of you that may be interested, Henry "Boo" Bourgeois passed away last November. For those of you that don't know the name, he was a member of Boyington's Blacksheep and "mentored" us a bit with our old WB squad. A handful of us actually drove down to Pensacola, FL once and Henry drove in from New Orleans and gave us the grand tour of the Naval Aviation Museum there. The next morning we watched a Blue Angels practice session before heading our separate ways. If memory serves me correctly he soundly drank us all under the table! Excellent trip indeed!

Already in AH. Been here for a few months now I suppose sort of off and on. On at the moment. Wound up along with my son (dstrip2) with the LD guys. Still in hogs pretty much exclusively (planes not dates).

hmm,
Was this a trip y'all made with Dave Wapples back when he was in WB VMF-214? back in the old days when that squad was shared by dobs, waxx and messer?
-
I pretty much stopped play WB - and I play in AH instead. I still do my training in WB though.
I dont want to leave the community over there.
Me and old trip are both in Loose Deuce squad - Consider its more of an international drinking club from old WB
Even old ntruder of Scanian griffins have joined up with us.
