Title: damage not working correctly?

well recently I have been noticing a lot of strangeness going on, I have shot off the elevator's of planes and they do not go down, continue to fly like nothing is wrong.
 one F4U seemed to fly better?

The left and right elevator surfaces can be shot off independantly, I've had mine 1 of 2 shot off quite often and still flew OK, but with reduced control. I never liked the old way when the entire elevator controls and surfaces were shot off 100%. This new damage system seems a bit more realistic.

I also had what appears to be a minor damage bug in the DA show up. Happened after a minor collision and both planes flew off, though I began trailing smoke as if oil damage occurred. System status read all green an no damage was listed, and 4 minutes later was still flying with no oil loss.

Curious if there is a graphic bug in the Tempest.

I shot both elevators off a Temp today.  I was 50' away and visually saw both of them missing.

I even stopped shooting when I saw them both fall off.

Guy continued to fly and told me later only one was gone.

While I do enjoy the expanded damage model I am curious if all the bugs are worked out on it.

in this film you can clearly see the F4 lose is elevator and continue to fly perfectly.

the shot happens around .50 into film
