Title: a6m prop pitch question
Post by: flatiron1 on March 27, 2010, 04:38:41 PM
In Version 2.18 Patch 0 Released March 10, 2010 does this change have any effect in how the plane flies or is it cosmetic?

Fixed prop pitch in 3d models of the P39s and A6Ms.

Cosmetic.

If I remember right it looked as though the prop blades where on backwards. They changed the shading to make it look the right way. No change to the flight model.

Seems like all the planes are having problems...Me262 trim problem...P51 is sluggish (Thats fine with me, though :) ).

It was a cosmetic change, the blades were pitched the wrong way so when the engine was running it should have been blowing like a fan lol.    As far as stalling I've noticed problems in other planes.  I took up a Spit-16 the other day, (rarely do but I needed quick base defense).  Usually the thing is so easy to fly that I have no problems getting kills but this time it was stalling and flopping all over like a fish. Ended up landing the thing and finding something else to fly.
