This is Steve Eve's 36ft 1600lb 1/10 scale "miniature" Saturn V rocket launch earlier today, commemorating the 40th anniversary of the first landing on the moon. The rocket was lofted by eight 13,000ns N-Class motors and a 77,000ns P-Class motor generating around 8000lbs of thrust! The launch was a huge success and put it in the Guiness Book of World Records as the largest model rocket ever flown! Congrats to Steve and the team!!!
:x :x :x
I nearly fell out of my chair when I saw this
Heres a link to a R/C show that displayed this Saturn V Model Rocket before its launch:

I now have this major urge to order a dozen buckets of ammonium percolate for a P class engine.
