Title: WW1 terrain in the works

I have hundreds of textures, so I don't know what I'm going to go with, but this is one possibility.  I figured since WW1 is a 64x64 terrain with no strat & such, it wouldn't be too hard to make a few & maybe keep people interested in the arena. :salute

Or maybe something warmer.  Same terrain:

I love that first shot, it looks like a "Norman Rockwell" painting.  Nice job !

Thx Fug.  Yet another potential terrain type:

I vote for those (the Spring ones).  Nice work.

You going to include no-mans-land (the cratered, dead trees, trenches area in the online arena terrain)?  Is that a new standard texture or a custom thingie?

Custom textures.  We'll see about a no-man's land area depending on file size.  4th prospect:

Ranger can't you use just the small runway and change the texture to a dirt field? That would give a little realism to it.

WW1 fields were large grass areas, no runway.  It would be easy to make one (I have a GREAT texture for it) but it would still have the WW2 Tower & hanger.  C'mon HTC, need that new editor. :pray

Very nice USRanger, I like both the spring and winter terrains. I especially like the patchwork of fields, totally cool. Trenches and no-mans land would be icing on the cake. You da man.

Are you guys allowed to use custom tiles when building a map for online use? If so this would be really cool.

That's really cool, I'm not a huge fan of snow maps, but the other 3 are better for my eyes.
