Title: Two video cards
Post by: kilo2 on March 31, 2010, 12:29:53 PM
I am looking at getting a second MSI 5770 twin frozerII card and linking them. Is this hard to do? Would i have to load any special drivers to do this.

No, when I bought my second 5770, I just popped it in, put the bridge on, and booted up. In the CCC it'll have a new "CrossfireX" option, but it's normally automatically checked.

From what I read, the primary constraint is liable to be your power supply.  If it is "Crossfire Certified" and/or "SLI Certified" then you should be good to go.

(Can't wait to build my new machine! I plan to include 2 x 5770 cards.)
