Im a little confused. I am led to believe in order to land gv kills at your base you must park on the asphalt.  On several occasions I have done this and get the "you have ditched" message.  Recently, myself and about 6 others had a hanger camp on a gv field, we took the field and everyone landed their kills except me. I recieved the same message again. I even go as far as driving into the hangar and shutting the motor down and still get ditched. Someone please explain where I am going wrong. Thanks for your help.

Based on what you are saying you should not have gotten a ditch.  You might try filming it next time and sending it to HTC.
