It's hard to de-snag your problems with so little information. I can tell you though that  previously I was running AH on a much lesser system than what you have, and didn't have any issues other than frame rates at the lower playable end. Currently I have a set-up pretty close to what you have... although a slightly smaller vid card and a bit less ram...and it runs AH seamlessly and flawlessly with all details / water / shadows maxed out.

If you are getting booted to desktop or having FR trouble, or lagging, you either have some sort of conflict in your set-up or you are experiencing provider issues.

Have you tried ping plotter to see if you are hanging up somewhere on the route to the servers?

I understand that it is frustrating RDSaustinTX, we have all been in that big black hole at one time or another. Let's get some more info and see if we can get it sorted out. It really is a great game and a good community...don't give up yet.

cheers,

RTR

I was getting dumped every 1/2 hour for the past 3 weeks. turns out my isp was the problem.  check your modem make sure red lights are not on.  red lights on my moded would last about 1/2 a second.

RD, in one of your earlier posts you stated that you're running with onboard sound (off your motherboard), are you still running with full sound acceleration?  You may want to bump that down one notch if you are currently at full, might help with some of your problems.

WOW ! What a lovely way to ask for help!

You can have the best computer in the world, but if it doesn't keep a constant connection to the game severs your screwed. If you loose packets, the servers will kick you... why? Because it "could" take that as a "cable puller" and we wouldn't want that. You don't have to have a great connection to the servers, just a steady one. Run pingplotter to one of the game servers for at least 10 minutes to get a good sample. Then post a picture here, or email Skuzzy with the info.

The server addresses are....

Axis vs Allies, Dueling, Early, Mid, Late War Blue Main Arena Server Address: 206.16.60.39
All WW1 Dogfight Arenas, Training, Late War Orange: 206.16.60.41
Special Events: 206.16.60.38

Probably be easier to just grant his wish.

Page File: 1608MB used, 14754MB available

That is high even for a Win7 box. Can we assume you are disabling or have not installed anti-virus, anti-spyware, 3rd party firewall, Windows Updates, torrent application, etc, etc, etc...?
Can we also assume you are not using a wireless connection, DSL, or dial-up?

Do what RTR and Fugitive recommend...and work the problem from there.

I run AH on much less of a system than what you have but I have very few problems...mostly frame rates...once in a while I get a crash but, since I know nothing to do with computers is 100%, it's only a minor inconvenience.
