Title: 1995 Chevy Door Parts

Gents,
 Ive read many threads here where some of you auto gurus have given sage advice............

 I need the latch assembly for a 1995 C1500 Chevrolet Pickup. Ive replaced the door hinge pins and bushings, but the latch assembly has taken a beating in years past and does not function as it should. Problem is, I cant find anywhere to purchase the latch assembly. I'm not even sure that is the the proper name!

 Its not the striker bolt itself, but rather the assembly mounted in the door that contacts the striker bolt.

 Would any of you have an idea where I can find this assembly? I realize that local junkyards are an option, but I am hoping to find somewhere to purchase the assembly as a new unit. Not someone else's problem....

more than likely, your local chevy dealer shoudl still have these.  :aok
