Should probably be French. 99% sure.
Maybe:

or

The Huns have enough planes right now, thank you very much, but this wouldn't suck to have either, IMHO:

Nor would this.

The Brits have two also, but come on, you know you want this one:

Well I think it should be the SPAD XIII and the Rumpler C IV. This would balance the plane set for events and provide more alternatives given the small nature of the arena. Also since they are both contemporary with what we currently have, performance will not be an issue.
This is the Rumpler,

Pfalz D.XV did not see combat. Pfalz D.XII is a much better candidate.

Well Rumpler C.IV was mainly used as a photo reconnaissance aircraft at high altitudes. It was a very good in what it did but I don't think it really would have a role in the current WWI arena. It wasn't a fighter in any means and couldn't really put up much of a fight to save itself. I think it will be a while before we start seeing WWI aircraft that are practically only used in special events.

For a german 2 seater that fits the bill ... the Halberstadt is the absolute choice! IMHO i may be hesitant to add the Spad XIII at this point in time. it is so much faster then the field an would totally change the dynamics to BnZ. the SE5 may be the answer ,not quite as fast as the spad, it's still a thoroughbred BnZ'r. i think my next choice might just be the Nieuport 24, being as the N28 may be a wee bit overpowering (i could well be wrong here tho and the 28 may be a great addition (there was actually a Nieuport 27 that seems like a great match for the arena!). an Albatross is a must sometime soon i hope (suppose it would have to be the DVa).
i personally would LOVE to see some early war fighters ... the Eindeker and the Morane (Bullet or Parasol) and the british FE2b (pusher). eventually Albatross DII and early Nieuport(s) and the Sopwith Pup. then DIII's and Sopwith Triplanes and Spad VIIs ..... wish wish wish.... I WANT THEM ALL!!!
please fix the torque on the rotaries, and correct the direction of the DR1's torque! it's counter-clockwise torque made for great dynamics when matched with the Camel! rotaries rolled very poorly against the engine torque, and rollrates in general need modelling.btw rotary engines had NO throttle control...they had to be "blipped" for control. so much to do... i sure hope AH commits to this incredible Era of air combat!! the fights are already more fun then WW2 arenas IMHO, and i hope the guys wake up and the WW1 arenas take off (so to speak). WW1 RULZ!! Feend aka feen

New planes should probably be introduced in pairs at this point. Because you would really need planes that stood in opposition at a particular point in the war, ala bloody april, or Fokker scourge time periods..
I'd still like to see the DH2 vs Fokker E3, or Albatross D3a (the best one) vs Bebe Neuport.
Both combo's would be perfectly classic!
But gotta get the Pfalz D3 in at some point, most beautiful plane in the war!

Totally agree.
Need to be balanced as they are added. And yes I too am waiting for the Albatross D3a.

can you label your pics at least?

I've had a lot of fun with the SE5a in DoA and would enjoy it here.

I know not original, but a good pic anyway.

I would like to have one bomber per side added. They wouldn't get much use in the WW1 arena, but would open up WW1 to Special Events other than just to furball.

BNZ love your Tom Sellec avatar. From High Road to China?
Anyway....Mr. HiTech and company. If you were so inclined could you post possibly a clue which we can burn up the internet searching for to let us know your next choice of ride for the WWI Arena?
Thank you.

The Royal Aircraft Factory's finest fighter, the SE5a. With the direct-drive British-made Wolsley Viper engine or the geared Adder, not the duff French Hispano-Suiza with the soft-metal prop gearing. And proper elevation of the line of sight five degrees up from the horizontal datum line for the Vickers gun, together with a decent simulation of the over-wing Foster mounting for the Lewis, which should have three spare 97-round drums for it as well as the one on the gun.
Then Sagittarius shall rise again . . .

Id really like to see.............a yak or KI next

WWI planes are just awesome, different and fun.. Just finished setting up, and started playing again, not online yet, first time in the kites, pretty cool HT/gang! The G940 FF works very nicely in a D7!
Would love to see more planes that illustrate the evolution of aircraft during the war, boy did they evolve! Compare a BE2, or Vickers Gunbuss, to an SE5a, and only in a few yrs too, woah!
As an aside, Has anyone zeeked the sound from Bruno Schtockel's twin spandau's for the game yet?
Don't want a whole sound pack, just that 1 particular sound...
