Is it just my setup but if I spawn a tank and shoot straight forward all the sounds are normal, but if I rotate the turret to other direction and shoot the cannon sound and loading sound direction stay as they were, forward, i.e. they do not rotate with the turret. At least with Creative X-Fi 5.1 sound system it does this.

So if you rotate the cannon 90 degrees to the left which is your 9 o'clock position, it sounds like you are firing from your right ear rather than balanced between L & R? Have to give it a try. Never noticed that.

I have just the Realtek built in audio set-up and it is happening in my headphones as well. Turn Left or right and the sound seems to come from the front of the tank. Tested offline in Panzer.

Yes charge, that is how it works. For GV's, the 3d positioning is not good.

It has always been this way. Since BETA... as in the first one back in 2000 when all we had were Panzer IVs. GVs and AA guns (individual guns and turret mounts) have never had positional 3D audio. Gun sounds always emanate from the front, never from the muzzle. In the wishlist forum this particular request has come up several times, but for whatever reason has never been acted upon.
PS: Patch 8 Osti is firing two rounds instead of one. Again.
