Hello.
Can we bind the mouse center wheel to map zoom in/out while viewing the clipboard?
Thanks,

I still keep trying to spin my mouse wheel to zoom the map. Old habit from WB but it was a good idea back then probably still would be. +1

I'm glad you guys agree. This would greatly enhance working with the clipboard map.

As it is the mouse wheel is an analog control,if you had a gaming mouse or a mouse with programable buttons you can map the zoom in/out to those.
I have a MX1000 logitec cordless it has a 2 way thumb button that I map for page forward/page back and i can easily map it to zoom in or out. As long as the button is not an analog control you simply assign the task.

That would work if we all had gaming mice.. :frown:

Actually my MX1000 isnt considered a "gaming" mouse,it's just a cordless mouse with a thumb button.
You can find something simalar in the corded variety for around $20.

Thanks for the info. Do you consider the wish a good addition to the game thought? I'd rather just use the mouse I have been using for over 6 years with a center wheel instead of having to buy a new one.

I think the wish has merit yes! it's just that as it is now the scroll wheel is an analog control and this may require considerable work to change things to allow your request.
I actually have this function mapped to a hatswitch on a second stick!

If it's changed to add analog control we can assign it to any rotary not just the mouse wheel. You can zoom the view in/out with either the KB or an analog control so it might not be that hard to program.
