Title: Hat switches on X52
Post by: SPKmes on April 12, 2010, 05:50:25 PM
I have a dodgy hat on my stick which I use for views (intermittent rear view)....When I tried to set views to the other 2 hats one on throttle and top one on the stick I have found that within AH these only have the 4 basic points forward,side,back,side.....is this an AH thing?   I seem to have all areas covered in windows but not here (forward left, back right  etc.....).. just looking for a solution untill I can get hold of one that has been returned...(saitek here are sweet, they give me returned items and I pull the bits out that I need)...I have a bck up 3d pro but would prefer not to use it.

Before logging in, open up control panel/devices/X-52/properties.  You will get the test screen showing all the buttons.  Then log in with that open and every function of the X-52 will work in game.

Look Back is my default view.  I only look forward when it's time to ditch.   :D
