That is Lockheed's Have Blue project that tested the "Hopeless Diamond" body shape concept on a flyable airframe.  It was used extensively to validate radar evading stealth technology and also competed against a Northrop design for a contract that eventually led to F-117 production.  Cool shot Funked!

Yes it's Have Blue, one of the two prototypes for F-117.  I think the picture was taken in 1977.

Staga got it right within 3 minutes but he changed his answer to have some fun.   (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

I would say its a SR-71
"Blackbird"

although it could be the one built just before the blackbird...
Its kind of too far away to be sure..

OK close enough.   (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
It's the Lockheed A-12 photo-recon plane which was built for and operated by the CIA.  The designs of the USAF's YF-12 and SR-71 were based on this project, which was black until a few years ago.

OK I'm almost out of Groom Lake planes.    (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

I'll try one more (think I used it before a long time ago).  For bonus points tell me the code name of the plane and the unit which operated it.
