Title: Ditch bug?

This has happened a coupla times to me now in the P-39Q.   I'll safely ditch, lose some parts,etc - after I stop skidding, I go to external view to check out the damage and WHAM! I'm back in the tower with a message that says I have been killed.   

I've ditched plenty of times in the '39 and its got a good strong airframe.   Think something may have changed in recent versions/patches?

I ditched a P-51D yesterday as a test and crashed hard enough to break both wings off, but did not die.  Thinking this may be a P-39Q bug that has been introduced somehow.

I'll have to give the '39D a try.

I do remember fighting in one down in the weeds a long while ago, and some hard maneuvering down low induced a stall and caused me to drop out of the air and plop right on the ground - the airframe stayed completely intact as I skidded to a halt.  I wonder if that has changed.
