Post by: SPKmes on April 18, 2010, 05:38:12 PM
Does the clock we see keep time... If it does is there anyway to set it for timezones?

I believe it keeps in game time. The same as the clock in your airplane.

It keeps game time which is faster than real time.

The virtual world itself has a rising sun. It rises, and sets, according to its own internal calculations. This clock reflects the position of the sun and moon in-game.

In events and scenarios it's been used to good effect for timing takeoffs at dawn, etc. In the MAs it's faster than normal time so that the sun may rise and set in a couple of hours (or whatever. I don't know what rate it's at).

It's not your local time, it's just "in this virtual world, this is the time"

Normally in mains its set at 2x. So 1 hour of game time for every half hour of real time.

So we're flying in half time but it looks normal because time is 2X?   :devil
